Don't Eat Chocolate, Wear It

In my on-going quest for the perfect cheap body lotion, I think I finally found a contender. It's insanely softening, sweet-smelling without being overpowering, not at all oily, and under $4.00.

Drum roll please... the winner is Vaseline Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning body lotion. It also comes in body oil (which is oily) and body butter (which is $8 or more, depending where you buy it, and is way over my drugstore comfort level).

This stuff smells very gently and sweetly of cocoa butter, but without that nasty aftertaste some other cocoa butter products tend to have. You know who you are.

Vaseline Cocoa Butter leaves your skin feeling slightly damp, which I prefer because then I know I am being well-moisturized. It rubs in quickly, so you’re not wasting time after your shower mooshing stuff onto your body. And it lasts during multiple hand washings, which is SO IMPORTANT during flu season. Seriously y’all, wash your hands more.

Finally a cocoa butter I can love! Instead of eating chocolate, I will now wear it! And look svelte and moisturized in the process!

Okay, I'm still going to eat chocolate. Who am I kidding?

And really, can you be too well greased up?

I don't think so.
