Further Elucidation Of My Cheap Deal: My love for lip products has been well-documented in the make-believe pages of Cheap But Not Easy. Whenever I’m having a bad day, I buy a lippy – stick, balm, gloss, it doesn’t matter to me. They all do the trick.

So it should come as no surprise to you fearless readers that I’ve been eyeing up Revlon’s Limited Edition Collection (a.k.a. they won’t carry it forever so buy it NOW) Just Bitten. Just Bitten is a lip stain, comes in four different colors, and is apparently infused with real fruit juice to make it taste and stain better. Who knew?

I begged for, and received from Ma, the Cherry Tart color. I would have purchased it the next time I was at Walmart, where I found it for $7.97, but she beat me to it. Once I got it home from our holiday in Chicago, I tested it out.

Here’s how to use Just Bitten, courtesy of my own trial and error. You're welcome:

Step One: Exfoliate the beejeezus out of your lips. Stain sticks the best to lip flakes, which is very un-sexy.
Step Two: Apply the stain VERY CAREFULLY. Yes, it will stain your skin, so stay inside your lip line. If it’s easier for you, use your finger to smoosh it around your lips. Yes, it will stain your finger.
Step Three: Let it dry. This only takes a second, so relax.
Step Four: Top with your best, most yummiest lip balm or gloss. You’ll look so hot, boys will be lining down the block just to watch what you’ve got. You ARE Fergalicious, sister!

The stain will not wear off with drinking OR smooching. However, you if eat oily foods, you’ll need to reapply. Oil removes makeup, which is why your eye makeup remover is so darn oily. Now you know.

With Just Bitten, you’ll be able to smooch your way through New Year’s Eve and still look fabulous (for cheap) come breakfast. Which you should be eating BY YOURSELF. Sheesh.
